This is the place near the Nand Bhavan, which is believed to be the private quarters of Yashoda Mayi. This is the place where Rohini, the second wife of Sri Vasudev gave birth to Balram as Devaki’s seventh child. Kansa thought that Devaki’s seventh child died in her womb due to miscarriage. But Devaki’s seventh child was actually transferred into the womb of Rohini, the second wife of King Vasudev by the powers of Yogmaya Devi. Thus Balram was born as the seventh child of Devaki from the womb of Rohini. There is temple at this place dedicated to Lord Balram with the deities of Lord Balram along with his parents Vasudev and Rohini. According to the beliefs, Yogmaya Devi also called Ekanamsa Devi was also born at this place from the womb of Yashoda Mayi. And this is believed as the actual place where Vasudevji replaced Yogmaya Devi with infant Krishna.
